What it is: The second session will if necessary conclude the work on the Memorandum of Understanding with ICANN for this region of At Large if any issues remain open. It is hoped that it will also be able to conclude the Bylaws of the region with ICANN. Otherwise, the participants will work to decide the priorities of the region, begin the nomination of the two regional representatives to the At Large Advisory Committee, and discuss the policy issues being discussed within ICANN from the perspective of Individual Internet Users in the European region.

What it is: The Swedish registy has recently launched a commercial DNS Security
(DNSSEC) service. The Bulgarian registry has DNSSEC operational and expects to release it commercially soon. Representatives from both registries will discuss their experiences and plans.

Why it's important: Registries and registrars who plan to deploy DNSSEC services will benefit
from the presentation and discussion of the deployment experience.
